In Memory of Chris Heay

In August of 2016, Christopher Heay received some news that would change his life. Christopher was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a type of sarcoma, which is cancer of soft tissue, connective tissue or bone. RMS is made up of cells that normally develop into skeletal muscles, which are muscles that we control to move parts of our body.

Christopher fought this terrible illness ever since he was diagnosed, and it has turned his family’s life upside down. Christopher always loved to play football, and played ever since he was little playing for TCYFL and continued to play at Capital High School.

While in treatment, Christopher had been missing his friends, his team, and the game he loves so much. Christopher has just recently passed away, and he will always be remembered. Our agency is on a mission to raise funds for Christopher’s family and help them with any expenses they may be incurring during this tough time.
